Frances Dunn, Clinical Psychologist
Frances found her niche when she discovered psychology. Over more than 30 years she has worked as a psychologist to support her clients in moving towards greater wellbeing.
Frances has always loved working with people. She values the opportunity her work provides to gain new perspectives and insights into the worlds, challenges and strengths of others. This extends and deepens her understanding of mental health and wellbeing, and further enriches her clinical skills. In seeking to find the approach that will best suit each client she draws from a range of therapies including ACT, CBT, Schema Therapy and EMDR.
Throughout her career Frances has worked in various settings including public, private, educational and corporate workplaces. She has always valued and sought out professional development, seeking to extend her professional knowledge and skills in evidence-based therapies to ensure her clients have all the tools and support they need to flourish.
In addition to her work in Psychology Options Frances presents mental health training programs in workplaces around the country for the Black Dog Institute, advocating for the importance of mental health awareness in the workplace. She loves this opportunity to support improved community understanding of how best to support mental health and improve wellbeing.
